Yes, you can now be notified of YYT Deals by e-mail
5
May
I've had a fair number of requests over the last few months, especially from people that aren't on Facebook, asking if there was any way they could be notified by e-mail when I post a deal.
Well, I finally got around to implementing it, you just need to go here:
http://www.YYTdeals.com/alerts
And enter the e-mail address(es) you would like to be notified at.
A few things:
1. Go ahead and enter the e-mail address for your cell phone as well if you want to be one of the first people to know about a posted deal. A lot of people don't even realize their cell phone has an e-mail address. It's in the following format:
If you're with...
Bell, you use: [email protected]
Fido, you use: [email protected]
Telus, you use: [email protected]
Rogers, you use: [email protected]
Obviously you need to replace 3335551111 with your 10 digit phone number, including area code. No dashes.
2. I will *only* send you an e-mail when something great comes out, and your e-mail address will not be used for any other purpose. Trust me, I hate spam, and I hate being annoyed by e-mail too.
I have no interest in sending out deals that aren't really deals, or sending pointless e-mails about travel deals from cities that you don't live in. There are already plenty of sites for that.
3. Please pass on the http://www.YYTdeals.com/alerts link to your friends, family, and co-workers that have been asking you about those amazing travel deals you found on Facebook and are wondering how they too can be notified.
If you need any help with being notified, or have questions about being notified, just give me a shout.
Chris
